Unite Data Sources To Increase Network & Field Efficiency

One of the most important assets a company has is its data. Whether managing internal resources, or the services and expectations of customers, timely access to information is crucial to the efficient operation of any communications provider. In most network environments, data is not stored in a single place but distributed over a number of independent databases making quick and efficient access to information more difficult.

SpatialNAVIGATOR is an application specifically designed to overcome the shortcomings of traditional database management tools by aggregating data from multiple sources into a single, graphical view. Through a highly customizable interface, SpatialNAVIGATOR allows the user to specify the unique information needs of every department, from Engineering to Senior Management. By avoiding clutter and “information overload” data can be leveraged to combine the insights provided by marketing, engineering, operations and customer service data sources.

  • Easy to use control panels to manage a user’s view of data
  • View data in a spatial or geographical context as well as in tabular form
  • A rich set of navigational tools
  • Extensive reporting capabilities
  • Advanced off-line editing capabilities
  • The ability to accommodate a wide variety of data types and sources
  • Optional add-on modules to extend the product’s capabilities

  • Leverage investment in legacy systems by making hard to access data available to the people that need it, when they need it
  • Reduce operational costs by increasing employee productivity
  • Reduce the time required to gather and analyze data by specifying only the information you want to see
  • Gain better insights into customer needs, network utilization, and operational performance

Advanced Viewing Module

Maps of a typical communications network can be very complex, consisting of many layers of overlapping and intersecting objects. The SpatialNAVIGATOR Advanced Viewing Module (AVM) can dramatically improve the readability of map-based data by filtering information based on data type. Additionally, users can restrict the data being displayed to particular attributes, such as installation date, cable pair count, etc. and can customize displays for any specialized purpose. Best of all, this capability is available through an intuitive interface and requires no special training to become productive.

  • Define and apply multiple filters in the course of a single work session
  • Build filter rules from a rich set of widgets
  • Select an object on a map and let the system automatically construct the filter based on the object’s attributes
  • Restrict access to individual users and groups based on logon credentials
