Service Fulfillment
Service fulfillment is the operational life-blood of any communications company. Efficiently turning customer needs into reality, gives the modern communications provider a critical edge in today's increasingly competitive market. Combining modern Business Process Management (BPM) technology, a comprehensive suite of network asset management, and over 20 years of close experience with our customers, CADTEL is proud of its suite of Service Fulfillment products, designed to help our customers realize full automation of their order fulfillment processes.
Automated Network Allocation
Typically referred to as Assignment, network allocation (ISP/OSP) has traditionally been performed by personnel who are charged with implementing complex business rules to optimize the usage of plant for delivery of service to customers. In a time of constantly evolving advanced services, this job has become more complex and time consuming.
CADTEL's Automated Network Allocation (ANA) solution provides extensible automation of assignment processes, freeing valuable human resources for other important duties such as problem resolution and customer service improvement. By utilizing our fully scriptable BPM engine, ANA is able to rapidly adapt to support new advanced services. ANA's modern Web Service interface enables it to integrate quickly with modern billing and service order management systems.
Outside Plant
While ANA can be implemented using almost any plant management system, its full potential is realized when paired with CADTEL's SpatialBASE / SpatialENGINEER outside plant management platform. With seamlessly integrated Service Cut handling, ANA and SpatialENGINEER work together to ensure that assignments are based on live plant inventory. Engineering improvements and maintenance are designed with integrated management of affected customer services.
Inside Plant
Like SpatialBASE and SpatialENGINEER, CADTEL's AssureNRM (Network Resource Management) product plugs-in seamlessly with ANA allowing Central Office engineers to publish inventory for assignments automatically as they document the network. AssureNRM's database is also updated by ANA to provide Network Engineers with live usage / status.
Activation
The Telpro II platform that forms the foundation of ANA also provides unparalleled device activation functionality. Like the ANA platform, Telpro II Activation is fully scriptable and can be rapidly adapted to support the new equipment necessary to deploy advanced services. From POTS served from traditional telecom switches to triple play services delivered from remote card-based devices, Telpro II Activation can interface with virtually any device.
When paired with Telpro II Activation, ANA delivers true end-to-end automation of the Service Fulfillment process. From the time an order is taken, ISP/OSP network resources are allocated and activated - all within seconds and without human intervention.
Assignment / Provisioning
Of course, even with ANA, 100% automation is rarely achievable in this complex process. Occasional data entry inaccuracies, complex customer situations, and other unforeseen circumstances will require a skilled assignment technician to resolve. To support this, CADTEL's SpatialASSIGNMENT offers a new approach to asset assignment. Rather than the traditional forms-based or "green-screen" approach for performing assignments, SpatialASSIGNMENT provides a powerful analytical interface with extensive information query/analysis capabilities to ensure that the assigner has the best information available to resolve the complex orders that cannot be automated.
